Ideal location:
Set in the older part of Swanage, the apartment for 5 guests is a quiet and peaceful retreat despite being only 200m from the town centre. Its ideal location means that it’s only a couple of minutes’ stroll to the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants.
After a lie-in, pop down to one of the fabulous cafes for breakfast and a stroll by the sea. If you’re spending the day on the beach with the kids, you’ll find it so easy to carry the buckets and spades paraphernalia, as it’s just a hop and a skip down the road. In the evenings, head to the restaurants or pubs, where you can enjoy live music before a handy stroll home to chill out.
Just down the path next to the apartment you'll find the Co-op store for everything you need, and Swanage train station where you can catch the atmospheric steam train to Corfe Castle.

The apartment is light and airy with a tasteful coastal theme. It sleeps 5 guests in king, twin and single bedrooms.
You’ll love relaxing on the sunny south-west facing balcony, perfect for that late afternoon glass of wine! 🍷 There is plenty of space inside the apartment for everyone to spread out after a busy day on the beach or walking the South West Coast Path.
Swanage and the local area:
Swanage is a traditional seaside town that never seems to change. The beach has golden sand that’s perfect for building sandcastles, and beautiful clear sea for swimming, even in the colder months when you can warm up in the sea front sauna. Hire a pedalo, watch Punch and Judy and take a boat trip from the pier. The kids can have fun crabbing on the quay and the array of flavours in the ice-cream parlours is something to behold!
There are so many wonderful walks right from the door of Swanage Home from Home, taking in the sights of the Jurassic coast at Old Harry Rocks, Durlston and Studland.
Further afield, it’s a short drive to Corfe Castle, The Blue Pool, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, Poole (and a boat trip to Brownsea Island), Bournemouth, Kimmeridge and The Etches Collection fossil museum, Shell Bay…. The list is endless, and one reason our guests return year after year, as there’s so much to fit in!

Parking:
You’ll have your own dedicated parking space at the Purbeck House Hotel opposite. It’s a real bonus to find parking in Swanage!
